Republican Speaker of the House of Representatives John Boehner yesterday vowed to do everything possible to help a wealthy businessman and former governor of Massachusetts, Democrat Barack Obama won the U.S. elections November presidential.
"It is clear that Mitt Romney will be our candidate," Mr. Boehner said.
"I think Mitt Romney has a set of policy measures that could put Americans to work and, frankly, in sharp contrast to the failed economic policies of President Obama."
Mitch McConnell, Senate Minority Leader later confidently said that Mr. Romney would be the candidate of the Republican Party, despite a series of primary contests still to come, and said that he also supported to become U.S. president.
"As you can see, the game is in the process of uniting behind him," Senator McConnell.
