Parents of 4-year-old Alice Meyer had the worst nightmare became a reality. Their daughter is playing in their yard in Louisiana, Missouri with her older brother when a man in a black sedan approached the guys and forced Alice in his car.
Nearly two days later, their prayers were answered. Last night about 10 pm call was made to police reporting the boy wandered out of closed car wash in St. Louis.
This boy wandered Alice. Her hair was cut short, she looked tired, but, moreover, had no signs of physical harm to the girl.
Meyer's parents arrived in the night to be reunited with their precious daughter, who was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Grandma Alice is convinced she was found unharmed, because God was watching his granddaughter. "They're going to catch him [the thief]," she told the press yesterday. "I pray to God, and God answered my prayers. They're going to catch him, maybe not immediately, but they will catch it. And I just wonder if this person knows that he will burn in hell."
Police are still searching to find the kidnapper while Alice remains safe in the hospital with her parents at her side.
