Three years ago, Jennifer Mee made headlines as the youngest of Tampa, Florida with hiccups. Now 9 years old is in the headlines for the murder.
Over the weekend Mee of St. Petersburg, and two others were charged with first-degree murder in the death of 22 year old Shannon Griffin.
According to the Police Department of St. Petersburg, Mee Griffin attracted to a house where the other two was robbed and then shot him several times.
Mee and other reports, he admitted the crimes during interrogation, reports CBS affiliate WFOR.
According to The Associated Press, which is being held without bail.
In 2007, Mee gained national attention as the girl who could not stop hiccups, she hiccups 50 times per minute for months. He tried to home remedies and consult medical specialists, a hypnotist and an acupuncturist, until the hiccups finally stopped only by his own account.
Mee no longer suffers from hiccups, police spokesman Mike Puetz said.
