Debra Bowen Select For California Secretary Of State

Democrat Debra Bowen was elected as senior state election, beating Republican Damon Dunn, a former professional soccer player and political newcomer who had never been elected office.
Bowen returns for a new ministerial term in office largely overseeing state elections, voting systems and information campaign finance. Bowen was first elected in 2006, beating Republican Bruce McPherson of Santa Cruz, who was appointed to the post by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger after Democrat Kevin Shelley was forced to resign the office by managing your money election office federal.
