How Lily Rabe Mother Jill Clayburgh Died

Jill Clayburgh has died at 66, Lily Rabe, the grief of his mother, Jill, will not open Merchant of Venice on Broadway on Sunday. Lily Rabe is set to open on Broadway Merchant of Venice Sunday 7 November. Now representatives of the highly anticipated book say the local news show has been postponed for the official opening night to allow time to mourn Rabe.
While Rabe was open on Sunday, the official opening has been changed to November 15, tell the producers of local news program on Saturday. Kim Martin-Cotten, deputy Ms. Rabe, will fill the role of Portia until the opening next week. Martin-Cotten, also will take the stage on Sunday as well. Instead of canceling the presentation on Sunday, the producers have opted to continue the show with Martin-Cotten, but the official premiere has been postponed Rabe.
Merchant of Venice has been covered by local media for its brilliant staging of Shakepeare's work. Rabe appear opposite Al Pacino as Shylock. The cast includes Byron Jennings (Antonio) and Jesse L. Martin (Gratiano). Clayburgh ever went out with Al Pacino.
Clayburgh Friday. Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
Clayburgh had suffered chronic lymphocytic leukemia for more than two decades. She won an Oscar for Best Actress in a married woman (1978) and to start again with Burt Reynolds (1979).
