John Kitzhaber Wins Oregon Governor Election Results 2010

Voters in the state of Oregon passed the opportunity on Tuesday to approve the first non-tribal casino in the state. The casino has been built near Portland, but the measure was defeated by residents who went to the polls this week.
The theme of the casino can not be dead in the state forever. The election results were finally revealed Oregon's governor on Wednesday, and Democrat John Kitzhaber has been named the winner by several media outlets in the state.
Not necessarily that Oregonians were against the casinos, only that this plan was not one that is comfortable. A Canadian investment firm was the driving force behind the initiative that would have granted an exception to the prohibition of private casinos in Oregon.
The fear was that the money generated by the casino would not stay in Oregon. One of the main reasons that many states will approve casino gambling for creating income and jobs that the casino would bring. Without such assurances, residents of Oregon took in supporting the ballot initiative.
Although the Canadian firm supported the proposal, supporters argue that the income and employment have been created with your project. Two local businesses were the driving force behind the proposal, and Attorney Matt Rossman, one of the creators of the plan, believes the issue will be on the ballot in the future.
Across the U.S., the Republicans took control of many important positions. Nationally, online players had a hit when the Republicans gained control of the House. Individually, the players in states like Florida and Alabama lost when Republicans won the governor's races in these states.
