Oregon Governor Election Results 2010 Is Coming

Oregon Democrats had held the most seats in the State as a result of the elections in Oregon are being finalized. If there is a concern for Democrats will be the race by Republican Gov. Chris Dudley, where he has a slight lead over Democratic candidate John Kitzhaber. About 89% of the votes had been counted and it looks like the winner in the race for governor of Oregon will not be known until the last vote is counted.
Meanwhile, the current Democratic Senator Ron Wyden will continue his tenure as U.S. Senator. He was first elected to U.S. Senate in 1996 and that means it is closed within two decades as a senator. His Republican opponent, Jim Huffman only manage to get 41% of the vote.
In the contests for the House of Representatives most Democratic candidates won including David Wu, District 1, Earl Blumenauer, District 3, Peter DeFazio, District 4, and Kurt Schrader, District 5. The seat only Republican who was a member of the current House District 2 Greg Walden. Walden had to hold on to the seat since 1999.
