Paul Pasqualoni And CowBoy coach

During a break in training camp last August, Jay Ratliff spoke extensively on new defensive line coach Paul Pasqualoni.
"He's so intense," said Ratliff. "And one of the things that makes him a great coach is that it's almost like a coach that is not right here. He lives. It is almost legendary."
Jason Garrett to replace Wade Phillips as coach on Monday, the Cowboys Pasqualoni named Phillips replacing defensive coordinator.
"I think the provision of Paul, his focus, his ability, you know its origin, but I think it brings something to the table for us to institute this week, next week for the next eight weeks - a change in culture" owner and general manager Jerry Jones said.
Pasqualoni is in his second tour in the Cowboys' coaching staff.
In 2005, he coached tight ends and linebackers coach 2006-07 was before parting with Tony Sparano to become Miami's defensive coordinator.
Pasqualoni was the only coach on staff with experience in managing a 3-4. Dave Campo spent five years as the Cowboys defensive coordinator from 1995 to 99, but was in a 4-3 scheme.
Pasqualoni returned to the Cowboys in January, shortly after he was fired in Miami, to fill the vacancy created when Todd Grantham left to become defensive coordinator at the University of Georgia.
In 2008, the Dolphins allowed 19.8 points per game, which was ninth best in the league and had 11 games in which they allowed 20 points or less, while creating 30 turnovers. In 2009, the Cowboys had the fourth best third-down defense (34.9 percent), but allowed 24.4 points per game (25 in the league) and had only four games in which they allowed 20 points or less.
Pasqualoni seems to have a daunting task to defend the Cowboys have allowed 121 points in the last three games and 11 touchdown passes during that span.
Jason Witten and DeMarcus Ware Pasqualoni credit to their development. The Cowboys hope he can be as successful as its coordinator.
