Prop 19 Results 2010 Barbara Boxer Wins

Barbara Boxer, Democrat clinched his fourth term in the U.S. Senate, the Republican Party in hopes of eliminating the liberal image of former Hewlett-Packard Co. CEO Carly Fiorina through a tough challenge.
Tuesday's election has not been easy for Barbara Boxer. His opponent has a wave of attack ads financed by out of state companies and conservative groups and is a billionaire candidate.
Boxer was found defending Democratic challenges to turn in the economy attacked the campaign was one of the most difficult long political career of Senator of 69 years of age.
Boxer turned the tables and Fiorina said represented a return to past Republican policies that created the recession as Fiorina blamed the Democrats for failure of economic policies.
Issues ranging from abortion to gun control were painted by Boxer to Fiorina as too extreme for most voters in California.
California Proposition 19 Results: No thanks to a ballot proposal that has become the first state to allow marijuana for recreational use and sales, said that voters in California.
Proposition 19, the legalization of marijuana for adults 21 and above to make an ounce of it, grown on private plots and smoke the drug in non-public places, was rejected on Tuesday.
The bill also provides that local governments are authorized to allow the cultivation of marijuana and commercial sale.
Proponents inclined rational experiment to reduce marijuana-related arrests and crime as a source of revenue.
