Today 3.5 Magnitude Indiana Earthquake Hit Near Greentown City

The earthquake of magnitude 3.8 occurred near the city of Greentown, Indiana at around 7 am, Central Time. Buildings shook for about a minute, and sent some animals up close in a frenzy.

Rockford resident Jo Ann Arneson said he was on the second floor of his home in bed when she felt the tremor.

"It rang for a while, the windows shook a little, nothing fell. It was not powerful enough to do anything but make the bed making noise below me, and my first thought, the first thing that came to mind was that it was an earthquake, "said Jo Ann Arneson.

Jo Ann is a native of the Bay Area of San Francisco, and says he has felt many earthquakes while growing up there.
