Blonde Bombshell Gabriella Pasqualotto Blog:Au-sissy IPL Cheergirl

An Australian player for Mumbai Indians was responsible for the ouster of blonde bombshell Gabriella Pasqualotto from his team’s cheerleading squad last week.

Two years after fake IPL player (and now Mumbai Mirror columnist) Anupam Mukherji created a stir with his blogs, Mumbai Indian cheerleader Pasqualotto (22) was summarily sacked by IPL commissioner Chirayu Amin after it emerged that she had been blogging about her stint in India and the conduct of players.

Leggy, blonde Pasqualotto ruffled feathers of the IPL Brahmins after she anonymously blogged on a cricket website: “The real fun happens in the VIP rooms where the players and the night owls can cause scandal!”

“Ol Graeme Smith will flirt with anything while his girlfriend lurks behind him. the Aussies are fun but naughty, such as Aiden Blizzard and Dan Christian. By the end of an evening a certain someone had played kissing catchers with three girls known to me only, although he has his own girlfriend back home. He cooed to each girl, 'Come home with me, I just want to cuddle'.”

It now emerges that this Aussie cricketer from the Mumbai Indian team - there are three: Aiden Blizzard, Andrew Symond and Moises Henriques - complained officially, and Pasqualotto was warned by her team administrators to stop blogging after her cover was blown by a fellow cheerleader. But it was not enough for the Aussie cricketer who accused Pasqualotto of gossiping and said it was distracting him from his game. As a result of this official complaint, she was packed off to South Africa.

“On Tuesday last week I was sent home as if I was a criminal. I was treated as if I had taken drugs or done something awful, and I was never offered an opportunity to give my side of the story," said Pasqualotto to the South African newspaper The Witness.

Though cheerleaders were warned not to fraternise with cricketers, this, she said, was hypocritical. "It's a joke. There were cameras everywhere at these after-parties watching what they got up to. The guys treated us like pieces of meat."

"We couldn't go anywhere without the crowds mobbing us and many of the girls did not behave. But nothing I wrote was directed at any one person. I think the cricketer [an Aussie] who complained had a guilty conscience," she told The Witness.

When contacted, a Mumbai Indians spokesperson refused comment on the incident or to reveal the identity of the Aussie player who had complained about Pasqualotto.
