One Irish Horse At Kentucky Derby Race 2011

There's only one horse at the 2011 Kentucky Derby who arrived via overseas flight and went to a quarantine stable for 48 hours. That's how they treat international contenders in blue grass country and Master of Hounds is the only pony in the race to earn that honor.
Master of Hounds is trained by Aidan O'Brien who's making his second trip to the Derby. He had two horses in the race in 2002. The Irish import last ran at the UAE Derby in Dubai on March 26. He came in second place. The three-year-old is the product of Kingmambo Silk And Scarlet. Garrett Gomez is expected to get the ride on Saturday.
