While the singer used to play in front of large masses of people, performance, Sunday was especially nervous for her, and she told her fans that it was on his Twitter.
"I've never been more nervous in my life, to sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl today," she tweeted, reports USA Today.
His speech went off without a hitch, exposing the outpouring of support from fans, artists, colleagues and his band and crew.

It will hit the road immediately after his speech, because he has a show in San Antonio on Monday night. When she returned to her bus, his band and crew had left a sign on her bed that read "Good job Kelly."
She described her emotions when he saw a sign on his page WhoSay, wrote: "I am a complete nerd and turned up, huh, I love my family way!"
