Massive Solar Fare hit The Earth Today, 2012

Massive Solar Fare hit The Earth Today, 2012: A massive solar flare in 2012, goes on the earth today, because solar storms March 6, 2012. The sun broke out with one of the largest solar flares of the solar cycle, March 6, 2012 at 7:00 pm ET. This eruption was classified as X5.4, making it the second largest missile - X6.9 after August 9, 2011 - with the activity of the sun, clad in a period of relatively low activity called solar minimum in early 2007. Currently, growth in the number of X-ray flares of class is part of the normal 11-year cycle of solar aircraft, during which the activity on the sun ramps solar maximum, expected to reach its peak in late 2013.

About an hour later, at 8:14 pm ET, March 6 in the same region decreased x1.3-class flares. X1 is 5 times smaller than the flash X5.

These X-class missiles erupted from active region AR 1429, which rotates called on March 2. Prior to this region have already given several M-class and one X-class flame. The region continues to rotate on the front of the sun, so that the rocket on March 6 was closer to Earth than the previous deal. This caused a temporary failure of the radio on the sunny side of the Earth, which hinders navigation and short-wave radio.

In connection with these missiles, the sun and cast two major coronal mass ejections (CME), which move faster than 600 miles per second and can reach the Earth in the coming days. Meanwhile, CME associated with the X-class flares were thrown from March 4, solar particles and magnetic fields in Earth's atmosphere and the Earth's magnetic field is distorted, which leads to a moderate geomagnetic storm, said, G2 on a scale from G1 to G5. Such storms occur when the magnetic field around the Earth to quickly change the strength and shape. The storm usually causes a mild auroras and can affect the transmission of high radio-frequency near the poles. This storm is already declining, and in the world can live another better if the VCR latest Earth-centric and effects.

In addition, yesterday sent a flash of solar particles into Earth's atmosphere, creating a moderate solar particle events, also known as solar storms. These particles were detected by NASA and SOHO spacecraft STEREO and NOAA GOES. At the time of writing of this storm is classified S3 on a scale that goes to S5. Such storms can interfere with radio communications at high frequencies.

In addition to the August 2011 X-class flares, the last time the sun has sent outbreak of this scale in 2006. There x6.5 December 6, 2006, and December 5, 2006 X9.0. In the most recent developments, two rockets exploded in the same region on the sun, which is a common occurrence.
