Indeed, we must take into account, Oprah was one of the stars in the film made in 1985 and has stars such as Whoopi Goldberg, Quincy Jones and Danny Glover."The Color Purple" is on a national tour and this week will be held at the Capitol Theatre with Oprah as the producer of this musical. This film is based on a novel by Alice Walker, who also won the Pulitzer Prize. Revolves around the life of an African American family in the rural South in the early 20 th century.Whoopi Goldberg played the role of Celie Harris, and was even nominated for an Academy Award for her role. His story is about a Black teenager, growing to become the cultural force of mental and other Black women. However, this Steven Spielberg film, had its share of controversy to the protests against a movie directed by a white man and black. However, in this generation, this music helps to rise above the limits of racial discrimination and enjoy the magic melody.
