The Miss International 2010 will be held in the province of Sichuan Gymnasium in Chengdu, China on November 7, 2010. The contest, which is in its 50th year, will see 70 contestants participating this year.
Reports indicate that since this is the 50 anniversary of the Miss International pageant, which has the highest turnout of contestants ever - 70! The semi-finalists in this competition are: China - If Yi Yuan, Costa Rica - Mariela Aparicio, India - Neha Hinge, Japan - Kanagae Etsuko, Puerto Rico - Hidalgo Aideliz, South Korea - Ko Yeong-Hyeon, Peru - Laura Spoy, France - Treiber Florim, Germany - Johanna Acs, Philippines - Krista Kleiner Arrieta, Serbia - Saranovic Anja, Venezuela - Isabel Mosquera, Spain - Honeycomb Desirée, Thailand - deejing Piyaporn and Turkey - Korkmaz dilay.
The current Miss International 2009, Anagabriela Espinoza of Mexico (pictured above) is all set to crown her successor tonight.
