Ohio High School Football Scores Result 2010

The first week of playoffs in Ohio high school football had two Division II powers flexing their muscles in blowout wins and an upset in Region 6 that changed the balance of power.
Lake Catholic was dominant in the battle against Kenston 42-0. The second seed in Region 5 was based on a strong ground attack led by Richie Sanders.
Sanders rushed for 165 yards and four touchdowns before changing his knee in the third quarter. The injury forced Sanders to leave the game and never returned. Tommy Sanders Michals written back and scored a 18-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, one of two touchdowns on the night for the elderly.


The Cougars will face Warren Howland Friday night at the Regional semifinal. Howland was undefeated 17-0 winner over Copley.
The Tigers overcame an injury to star second runner De'Veon Smith, early in the first quarter and was based on junior running back Tony Osborne to support the load. Osborne responded with 170 yards and a touchdown. Copley committed four turnovers in the loss expensive.
Despite its perfect record of the Maple Heights Mustangs had to go on the road to Toledo Central Catholic for their first round match-up. Shaq Washington, Andre Stubbs and Devonte Ransom led a stampede on the floor for the Mustang in the 34-14 victory.
After a burst within 30 yards in his opening drive, Washington scored on a seven-yard to give Maple a 7-0 lead.
After a punt by Central Catholic, Washington Stubbs beaten on the floor and the other 67 yards into the end zone. Before you could blink Central Catholic, which lost 14-0.
But Stubbs was far from done, in the second quarter posted a punt on the 30-yard line and broke a 70-yard touchdown return. Later added a third touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Just before the half, Washington connected with Ransom on one play of 61 yards to make way for a lead of 27-14 Maple.
Sandusky Maple Heights will next week after the blue stripes Avon upset top seed, 42-35.
The Eagles shot himself in the foot in the second quarter as quarterback Cody Schroeder threw three interceptions. The blue stripes put 28 points on the board in the fourth to take a 35-14 advantage at halftime.
Avon and Schroeder mounted a furious comeback to tie the game at 35-35 before Sandusky scored on his final drive to seal the victory.
In Division IV, Chagrin Falls runner Jack Campbell did not let the snow covered the field that affect them, rushing for 132 yards and a touchdown in the Tigers 22-7 victory over Garrettsville Garfield. Chagrin Falls Lakeview Courtland takes next week after its 42-21 victory over St. Clairsville.
And in Division VI, Mogador was based largely on the combined broker Gary Strain and Zach to loosen Heigelman Buckeye Central 37-21. The undefeated Wilcats Ledgemont take unbeaten on Friday night, after Monroe down 47-21.
