Farah Khan 'Tees Maar Khan "is a film that is heavily inspired by the 1966 film"After the Fox, and like the original (which was hit hard by the critics), the adaptation is so absurd and over the top.
The film is a typical Tabrez Mirza Khan, also known as Tees Maar Khan (Akshay Kumar), a master criminal and was an expert in crime, even before he was born coz her pregnant mother to watch movies crime . How funny!
After Akshay accepts a mission of stealing antiques worth crores of a moving train, puts on a pretense of being a filmmaker in Hollywood and becomes a director with Aatish mock Kapoor (Akshaye Khanna) and Anya (Katrina Kaif) as major players.
Katrina is a dumb blonde girlfriend who is also Akshay and has little to do apart from just blinking his body cut into songs and dances. Speaking of songs, which are par excellence and has to Farah Khan touché. In fact, the songs are the only good thing about this saga nonsense.
But writing is very bad for which the credit goes to Shirish Kunder and Ashmita. There is a large crater pothole the size of the threadbare script and many jokes and gags are slapsticks.
Akshay strives to make people laugh, but lost to the written work pathetic. In general, no masala and the film is likely to do so, due to the festive fervor but if you are looking for a historical film sound, then headed for a big disappointment.
