Well, the weather outside can not be that terrible time, but its entry into Facebook and it's getting downright nasty. Yesterday afternoon, forest fires Restaurant innocently posted a cheerful note on your wall fans wishing to Facebook a "very Merry Christmas." Rather than acknowledge that Christmas was three days away, people went into attack mode, saying things like "Hey, I am a Muslim" and "I'm Jewish! U should say Happy Holidays!" And it just got worse from there.
This turned into a shit storm with people screaming at each other, arguing why it is OK to say Merry Christmas, while others said that is a ridiculous holiday just to sell things and so on. It is clearly out of a nerve fires another note published today by saying: "Merry Christmas to all! Our apologies to anyone who was offended by the sentiments of Christmas." So this sent people to other nerve saying you should not have to apologize and then people uncomfortable again.
Well, whatever holiday to celebrate on Saturday is Christmas for Chicago Eater is taking some time off, but only until Monday. So to say, Merry Christmas to all ... and to all a good night!
