British Teacher Lindsay Ann Hawker Accused Raping By Tatsuya Ichihashi

Japan accused of killing and raping British teacher Lindsay Hawker in 2007has claimed in a book that he wished his victims "could come back to life."
Tatsuya Ichihashi, 32, wrote the book in the 14 months after it was stopped after two years and seven months in the race.
Titled "Until I stopped," says the book of his travels by train and ferry across to Japan, his repeated efforts to change their appearance through the use of knives and scissors in her face and feelings of "contrition "Hawker's death.
Hawker's naked body of 22 years, the town of Brandon near Coventry, was found by police March 2007 buried in sand in a bathtub on the balcony of Ichihashi's apartment in the western district of Tokyo Gyotoku .
Barefoot, Mr Ichihashi managed to evade the eight police search of the property. Immediately after making his escape, the 240-page book reveals that Mr Ichihashi spent a few weeks in Tokyo, while police tried to trace. Then he traveled to northern Aomori prefecture, where he lived rough in the summer, before deciding to go on pilgrimage to some of the 88 temples that compose the sacred Buddhist path through the mountains of the island of Shikoku.
During this trip, Mr Ichihashi Hawker said he wished that it could "come to life."
