CNN.com quoted a September interview with Elizabeth Edwards gave to "The Show, Nate Berkus," when asked what she sees when she looks at her husband.
"I see the father of my children, and that is very important to me," he said. "In particular, since I have a terminal illness, this is the person who eventually will take over the primary parenting, and it is important to me than cure, if necessary."
