Jennifer Hudson And Rahm Emanuel:Today News Headlines

Jennifer Hudson led a fundraising concert for the mayoral candidate tonight Rahm Emanuel in the House of Blues.
He introduced the Chicago native, who won the Academy Award and the new face of Weight Watchers, but Emanuel did not appear on stage with Hudson. She wore a slim black dress and opened the show soon with her single "Spotlight."
Tickets for the cost of fundraising exhausted from $ 30 to $ 500, according to the campaign, and over 1,200 are expected to attend. Emanuel Hudson first met at a White House event, according to campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt, who said that when he learned Emanuel Hudson was a candidate for mayor who "offered to help."
Former White House chief of social Desiree Rogers organized the event.
"Does Rahm know how to organize a party or what?" Rogers said as the audience was diverse. "Looking around the room and see Chicago. I see young, I see ... I see more professional and maybe some people do not have a job."
Emanuel plans to donate $ 5,000 of income to the Chicago Police Memorial Fund, in accordance with LaBolt. Former White House chief of staff's campaign coffers is expected to be filled. Emanuel has not released his fundraising totals, however, but began his campaign with over $ 1 million of his former congressional campaign fund.
He has already asked the star power to raise funds - holding a fundraiser in Hollywood in November, organized by his talent agent Ari Emanuel, brother and other Hollywood A-listers, including the head of Disney.
