John Edwards Engaged With Rielle Hunter Is Rumor

Despite rumors to the contrary, the former presidential candidate John Edwards is committed to Rielle Hunter, sources close to the couple to ABC News.

"I do not think it's true," said Hunter's attorney, Alan Duncan, ABC News when asked about a report in The National Enquirer that Edwards had proposed during the December holidays, just weeks after the death of his ex-wife Elizabeth Edwards.
Another source close to the couple also questioned the alleged involvement, telling ABC News that the couple had no intention of marrying.
According to the Enquirer, the same publication that first broke the news of Edwards' affair with Hunter in 2007, Edwards told Hunter that he wanted "to become one big happy family."
A spokeswoman for the Edwards family declined to comment on the report.
Hunter is the mother of the daughter of two years of Edwards, Quinn. Edwards initially denied the affair with Hunter before admitting the folly in August 2008. Then, in January 2010 admitted that he was indeed the father of Quinn.
The reports of impending nuptials come just days after the news that Edwards' wife Elizabeth Edwards alienated, excluded the former senator from North Carolina.
This is not the first time that a marriage between Edwards and Hunter is rumored.
Last year, after the announcement that Edwards is the biological father of Quinn, the Enquirer published a similar story reporting the commitment of the couple that was denied too.
Also last year, Andrew Young, former associate of Edwards told ABC News that Hunter spoke about plans for a rooftop wedding in New York.
Elizabeth Edwards, who died Dec. 7 after a six-year battle with breast cancer, the eldest daughter of Catherine named as the executor of his will, which makes no mention of John Edwards.
He also states that Cate Edwards, 28, will become the guardian of her two younger siblings - Emma Claire, 12, and Jack, 10 - if something happens to John Edwards.
"All my furniture, accessories, housewares, jewelry, china, silverware and personal items and any car that I own at the time of my death I give and bequeath to my sons who lives in the moment of my death" will states.
