The Wynot Lady Blue Devils traveled to Ponca City on Tuesday to play a division opponent Eastern Conference of Lewis and Clark. This became a game full of plenty of turnovers by both sides. Sloppy play and mistakes were the order of the day as both teams struggled to control the pressure applied by the other team.
The Blue Devils would win the game at the foul line, as does 24 to 39 launches charity to steal the win 57-51 and remain undefeated with a record of 7-0. Ponca was led in scoring by Jordan Perkins with a game high 19 points and Cari Jo Hughes also reached double figures with a 13 point effort. Wynot Shelby got a triple form Wieseler and solid free throws in the final by 15 points to lead the Blue Devils offense. Katie Savoy had a solid game with 11 points and Bailey Kuchta only be missed double figures with an output of nine points. Maggie Schulte, who was fighting the flu to score eight points in limited action Wynot. Ponca take an early lead thanks to a triple and seven points Cari Jo Hughes and Jordan Perkins four points because it got a 19 to 11 of the first quarter. Wynot would join again in the second quarter after a pair of long-range triple Katie Savoy and Shelby Wiesler to lead the Lady Devils in a race from 16 to Wynot 10 and only lost by 28-29 in the half.
