Several stores are opening their 2011 New Year's Day sales today, the first New Year's Day 2011. As today is holiday, a lot of offices are closed and that includes government offices nationwide. Today is the beginning of the year for profit taking and as the recent sale of Black Friday, Cyber Monday sales and servicing of Christmas, New Year's Day sales are expected to become a hit stores national level.
