Organization celebrates its 90 anniversary this year.
Three nights of preliminary competition has already occurred. On Thursday, Miss Nebraska Teresa Scanlan was named the winner of that night's preliminary talent for playing piano. Miss Oklahoma Emoly West won recognition as the lifestyle of the night and the winner of fitness (swimsuit). Both won scholarship money.
Miss Alabama Miss Rhode Island and earned recognition in the respective categories during the second night of preliminary competition, and pays tribute to the first night was Miss North Carolina and Miss Hawaii.
But everything leading up to Saturday's event, where the current Miss America Caressa Cameron (Virginia) will end his reign and was crowned the 2011 winner.
"Dancing with the Stars" winner and co-host Brooke Burke and "The Bachelor" host Chris Harrison will host the event. The judges of the reports, is "The View" co-host Joy Behar, Miss America 1991 Debbye Turner Bell (now a correspondent for "The Early Show"), "Desperate Housewives" creator and executive producer Marc Cherry, Actress Marilu Henner, and shoe designer Taryn Rose.
