Obama Kill Switch On Internet

President Obama may have stressed the need for broadband access in its recently enlarged the Union speech to U.S. Congress But the PM also in the Internet market, killing powers, according to a recent article in Wired.com.
The popular news site reveals that the legislation that would authorize the President to kill access to today, the AM call Äúcritical infrastructure, the AU is to reintroduce before a Senate committee. According to Wired.com, the proposed legislation does not necessarily allow the president to close the Internet altogether, but rather to protect against significant threats.
Recently, as reported by TechZone360.com, President Obama took the opportunity during his State of the Union to emphasize the need for more robust services wireless high speed in order to meet the growing demands of consumers and organizations and reach rural areas.
"Over the next five years, allowing companies to deploy next-generation high-speed wireless coverage to 98 percent of all Americans," Obama said. "This is not only faster Internet and fewer dropped calls. It is about connecting all corners of America to the digital age."
This is not the first time AOT President has called for expanded broadband access. TechZone360.com reported in June that Obama signed a memorandum asking the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), in collaboration with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to make 500 megahertz of spectrum available for broadband fixed wireless and mobile the next 10 years.
