President Pratibha Patil greeted All Nation On Makar Sankranti ,Pongal,Lohri

President Pratibha Patil and Vice President Hamid Ansari on Thursday greeted the nation on Makar Sankranti and Pongal and desired prosperity and happiness to people.

"May these festivals bind the communities and regions of India in a bond of love and affection and inspire us to work for unity and progress of our country," Bush said in his message.

The harvest festivals of Makar Sankranti and Pongal will be held January 14 and 15 January respectively.
