Tennessee Titans Split From Head Coach Jeff Fisher

Tennessee Titans split from coach Jeff Fisher on Thursday, a divorce that ended his season as coach of the NFL head longer.
The team announced that the parties had "agreed" that Coach Fisher is not the Titans, who had led since 1994.
The announcement came just weeks after team owner Bud Adams Fisher re-engagement following a dispute between the coach and QB Vince Young.
Titans' Fisher was 6.10 this season, a campaign marked by the division between him and the young.
After the two had a break in November, Adams and Fisher said Young would have to find a way to work together.
But in early January, unfortunately, young Adams decided to leave the team third overall pick in 2006, and days later again committed to Fisher.
The coach has a year left on his contract with the Titans.
Fisher has a 142-120 record and a 5-6 mark in the playoffs in the last 17 seasons. He led the team to an appearance in Super Bowl XXXIV.
His departure makes Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid League coach with more time. He has been with the Eagles since 1999.
Vacancies in the Titans is the only job open as a head coach in the NFL.
