Justin Bieber In Nba Celebrity Game 2011 Roster

It was without doubt the most anticipated performance in the history of the celebrity game. A few thousand people packed center court at the All-Star Jam Session on Friday and many more watched at home to take a look at teen sensation Justin Bieber rings.
Bieber, who turns 17 next month, will be eligible for the NBA Draft 2013. At this point, it is too early to project when or if they would be selected, but whatever happens, the 2011 BBVA-Star game the first chance to see Bieber against a higher level of basketball competition.
On behalf of the West, faced Bieber Hall of Fame, Scottie Pippen, First Team All-WNBA star Tamika Catchings and common, who led the New Jersey Nets to an NBA championship - in a movie.
It was Pippen, or Common Catchings, who was voted by fans as the Most Valuable Player on Friday, however. It Bieber, who scored eight points in three of his 11 shots in defeat, as the East defeated the West 54-49.
"He played very well," said Pippen, "but has an ugly shot."
N real NBA scouts and general managers were seen in the game. However, sources with knowledge of the situation to say that many of them have been watching on ESPN, or possibly TiVo'ing the game to watch later.
This coach Bill Simmons, who has expressed interest in becoming a manager in the NBA in general, says he was "impressed" by the resistance of Bieber in the face of an opponent Michael Rapaport.
"He came back," said Simmons. "He was not afraid."
Bieber bridge looked a little shaky Friday, but it was clear that he brings a number of intangibles in the game. He is light on his feet, plays with the intensity of Kevin Garnett-like - on the screen when shoved Catchings after she stole the ball from him in the fourth quarter - and her hair is fine.
The hair has served him well in his other passion, singing softly as a star has apparently won success tracking a number of teenage girls worldwide.
Former Golden State Warriors general manager Chris Mullin, who scored five points for the East, thinks that the intensity could be an NBA team as well.
"It has a nice little game," Mullin said Bieber, "but more importantly, has great passion. Seemed to love the game."
