Maura West Get Best Led Actress Award

The Emmy award winner Maura West was awarded with the best lead actress at the Daytime Emmy award. The Daytime Emmy awards were held on Sunday at Hilton in Las Vegas. Maura West won the award for the best drama serial as the world Turn. This was the thirty seventh daytime Emmy Awards which took place this year and gave away awards starting from the best daytime drama series to the best game show host.
The game show Cash Cab took away two Daytime awards this year. Maura west who has been known for her role in the primetime serial As the World Turns has been nominated seven times for outstanding lead actress.

The soap opera is running its final season this year and she was lucky enough to get her last award for this series. She started working in this serial since 1995 and has been playing the role of Carly Snyder. The show

is airing its final season these days and has successfully broadcasted thirteen thousand eight hundred episodes until now. The CBS channel announced that that will no longer renew the soap opera and is the longest lived drama. Maura west has played a major role in the drama and during her cast the drama has won two Outstanding Daytime Drama series award. Maura has been married twice and has five children. She is currently married to Scott who is a co-star of as the world turns and had her fifth child last year. This year proved to be very beneficial for the soap opera.
