California Election Results 2010

Democratic Gov. John Lynch of New Hampshire and Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe cling to their seats, based on exit polls.
This will be fourth term Lynch and Beebe's second in two heavily Democratic states. Both candidates face three-way races, but maintained a consistent lead in the polls, unlike most Democrats - including owners of other - all over the country.
Continuing economic distress and anemia employment growth has caused the great army of voters that once was the backing of the Democratic Party in 2008 to disperse in various directions in this election season. Now, as the midterm election draws to a close, is that Republicans are gaining strength.
ABC News also projects of Republican gubernatorial candidate Bill Haslam claim victory in New York over Democrat Mike McWherter, in what follows, historically, being a strong red state. As expected, the former mayor of Knoxville beat his opponent by double digits.
28 Republican governors took after the 2004 elections, but only 22 points after 2008, with a runoff election in New Jersey and Virginia in 2009 for a total of 24. Now it seems that the GOP's momentum carried through in 2010, one year at a record 37 seats for governor on the line.
