Sean Duffy New Updates

Duffy says the change is in the future, but will not take office for another two months, says it plans to begin running.
The change is in store for the seventh congressional district, Congressman-elect Sean Duffy will take office January 3 replacement of retiring Congressman David Obey. This is the first time that a Republican will have headquarters in more than 40 years.
"I am humbled and honored to receive the votes to be the next in the 7 th Congress of Wisconsin. I do not think it's fully sunk in yet," said Duffy.
Duffy made during his campaign promises to create jobs and balance the budget. Duffy said he plans to keep his word when it comes to Washington, but it will take time.
Duffy said: "We can not continue with a deficit of 1.3 trillion U.S. dollars annually, simply does not work. We have to start pushing this thing back, but that will be very hard. I do not think that will happen. But three or four years on the road, yes. But we have to put the shovel and stop digging and go in the right direction. "
Meanwhile, the Democratic candidate Julie Lassa was not available to the media, but in a statement that says: "I congratulate Mr. Duffy and work with him to create good-paying, family supporting jobs for Wisconsin drivers ahead" . Tuesday night Lassa thanked his supporters in Stevens Point
"I just wanted to come and tell you all thanks for all your efforts, thousands of phone calls all the facts, thousands of doors that you all did, and just go out and work, and all your support. Has been tremendous "Lassa said.
Duffy says he has been a long road for both parties, but the real change will occur when both parties agree to negotiate. "There is a contest of ideas the best ideas rise to the top and I think he has the right ideas at the moment. But the bottom line is that we must work together. You can not just say it's my way or the highway. If it will go nowhere, "said Duffy.
