South Carolina Election Results 2010 Jim DeMint Wins

The majority of the electoral fireworks exploded in South Carolina during the primary season, when two area Republican candidates supported by parties, Nikki Haley for governor and Tim Scott for the first district seat, candidates upset the establishment. Both are heavily favored to win - Haley against Democratic state Sen. Vincent Sheehan and Scott against Democrat Ben Frasier. Their victories could help change the image of the Republican Party. Haley is an American Indian, and Scott is African American.
Sen. Jim DeMint, who has won national recognition as a spreader of the tea party candidate, is expected to easily defeat his opponent surprise, Alvin Greene, who won the Democratic nomination, not to campaign despite his strange behavior and lack of experience.
