Longtime Laker Derek Fisher in Houston for Jordan Hill: This is the end of an era - again - for the Lakers and Derek Fisher.

Lakers traded veteran point guard and a conditional draft pick to Houston for forward Jordan Hill, a team source confirmed the rocket Times.

Fisher played his first eight seasons with the Lakers the NBA before his departure for Utah and Golden State after the 2007-08 season to return. He won five championships with the franchise.

Fischer became a one-time after the Lakers acquired point guard Ramon Sessions of the Cleveland Cavaliers until Thursday. The sessions are likely the Lakers' starter Steve Blake maintains it on the bench.

Fisher, on average, 5.9 points and 3.3 broadcasts this season, but was widely respected for his locker room availability and clutch shooting. Hill, a third-year player from Arizona, on average, 5.0 points and 4.8 rebounds per missile.

The choice of the project sent to Houston in a deal originally acquired from Dallas in relation to the Lakers for Lamar Odom trade in December.
