Police arrested the actor George Clooney, on Friday During a Protest at The Sudanese Embassy in Washington: "We're really here to ask two simple questions:" Clooney said a few minutes before his arrest. "The first question is immediately - and immediately in need of humanitarian assistance provided in the Sudan, before he becomes the worst humanitarian crisis in the world."
The second thing, he says, "for the government in Khartoum to stop accidentally killed his innocent men, women and children. Stop rape them and let them starve to death. That's all we ask."
George Clooney met with President Obama on Thursday to discuss their concerns of Sudan.
He showed the Senate Foreign Relations Committee this week on the issue of violence in the Nuba Mountains in South Kordofan state in Sudan near the border with the newly independent Southern Sudan.
Clooney and other activists have accused the Sudanese government attacks there wounded and killed innocent civilians.
Clooney told the Senate committee that organized the attack by the Government of Sudan, led by President Omar al-Bashir, a government official Ahmad Harun and Defence Minister Abdelrahim Mohammed Hussein - the same three people, he said, which has long been documented organized attacks in Darfur.
"What you see is constantly drip of fear", according to Clooney, who has just returned from a trip to Sudan. "We found the children are filled with debris, including a 9-year-old boy who had both hands severed."
This month the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Saddam, listing 41 counts of crimes against humanity and war crimes allegedly committed in the Darfur region of Sudan. Harun al-Bashir, as well as those accused of war crimes in Darfur, with the participation.
Clooney is one of the founders of the Sentinel satellite, which uses satellite imagery to monitor the air attacks and troop movements in Sudan and Southern Sudan, which became an independent country in the past year.
