Star Defender does not really care if he just wanted to win.
Weber was booed into silence to the beginning of the first period and beat the Nashville Predators like Detroit Red Wings Sunday 02.03 to 01.02 of lead in the first round of the series.
"I think we're more focused on the game," he said.
Weber was booed every time he touched the puck, Henrik Zetterberg split the face in the glass at the end of Game 1.
"We're talking about great players, when there is little controversy to accelerate," Nashville coach Barry Trotz said. "When he came to the rink, he knew that he would not be friendly players in the arena."
The purpose of Weber's Nashville broke a 0-to-12 line on the power play against the Red Wings in the series and helped the franchise until the end of his 0-for-6 skid in the playoffs against them on the road.
"We have not been around for 100 years, so it was just one more thing that we need to do," said Trotz.
Predators, who are in the 13 NHL season, success in the playoffs last year for the first time and trying to cross the Red Wings after they eliminated in 2008 and 2004.
Just when it seemed that the Red Wings have been completed, of course, in Game 3, Zetterberg scored with 54 seconds left to pull the Red Wings within one, but they could not get overtime.
Detroit Red Wings need to win Tuesday night at home to avoid a confrontation with the liquidation of the game 5 in Nashville.
"We have to dig in and be very strong in Game 4," said Red Wings defender Niklas Lidstrom stars who could retire after the season.
Kevin Kline gave the Predators a 2-0 early in the second and Pavel Datsyuk Red Wings pulled out less in the middle of the period.
Johan Franzen Red Wings had two thoughts at the end of the second period, but video review showed his shot sailed through the crease, and short of the goal line when time expired.
"We knew that before leaving the bench," Detroit coach Mike Babcock said. "Our video guy said that he was not in."
Detroit had one more chance to tie early in the third period, but prevented the shooting stick Klein Cory Emmerton to go into the open net.
"I think he has a bit of instinct for the goalkeeper," said Pekka Rinne in Nashville, who made 41 saves. "He made a huge block that really saved goals for yourself. This is definitely one of the key elements."
Sergei Kostitsyn sealed the win with a wrist shot inside the right circle 3:30 left in the sequence that began with Klein to get to the recovery on the other end of the ice and passing the puck along the Mike Fisher.
Jimmy Howard stopped 20 shots for the Red Wings.
"I thought he kept us in the game," Lidstrom said.
Team and its fans in Detroit, Joe Louis Arena, where the legendary franchise has won 31 NHL games this season are high, have been released to the puck dropped.
Weber was booed every time he touched the puck and the defender of the stars do not seem confused.
"It's part of it," he said. "Everything."
Weber Datsyuk shot broke his stick on the power play in the first game and pressed forward stickless times, thus freeing the stars defender to score with the rebound. Red Wings killed his latest sanctions, including 37 in the last 12 months in the series.
"If you continue to give them a chance, they will eventually win," said Zetterberg.
Soon after, Detroit did not score on its second power play early in the second, Klein has accelerated to mid-ice, deked defender Brad Stuart and his wrist shot from the slot to beat Howard on top of his glove hand.
"It was like a 40-goal, as he jumped into the game," said Trotz.
Two goals reassured Joe Louis Arena, and Datsyuk has revived the crowd a little less than five minutes after the start of the second period in a situation of a 4-for-4.
Datsyuk lost a face-off at the end of Nashville, then pulled the puck from Roman Josi for a net, and Rinne got up and seemed to relax for some time before the goalie and scored a six-foot-5 can get into position to do something. Datsyuk had a chance to tie the game after a few minutes to recover, but his kick slid past the net open.
Red Wings, who had only 17 shots in a 3-2 victory Friday night Rinne peppered with 19 shots without the puck in the third period, without much success on Sunday.
Zetterberg scored on the power play, in which Detroit pulled Howard, which gives them the advantage of 6.4 to help get a place to shoot from the right circle.
