Charlie Sheen is in a Los Angeles hospital after paramedics were seen taking the actor outside his home on a stretcher.
Emergency services were called to the home of the star with problems early on Thursday after he began experiencing severe abdominal pain.
TMZ.com reports Sheen left the house with a towel partially covering his face.
Two young women left the house minutes after Sheen was expelled in the back of an ambulance.
The actor's publicist, Stan Rosenfield, confirmed that his client has been admitted to the emergency room of Cedars-Sinai Hospital. No further details have been released.
The "Wall Street" star has been dogged by health and legal problems in recent months - in October that destroyed a New York room hotel as an escort reportedly shrugged naked in a bathroom. He was subsequently hospitalized to treat an "adverse allergic reaction" to medication.
He was treated for an ear infection earlier this month and also hit the headlines when a recent wild weekend in Las Vegas went public.
Meanwhile, network executives behind the TV comedy "Two and a Half Men" has shown that there is a "high level of concern" about the actor's personal problems.
As WENN goes to press, no one knows why Sheen had been hospitalized.
