Maryland People Celebrate 15 Polar Bear Plunge Challenges

Posted Polar Plunge Challenge,Dozens of people known as superplungers began the annual task of 10 am on Friday, pledging to run in the icy water every hour for 24 hours to help the cause.

They were joined on Friday afternoon hundreds of students from schools in Maryland, participating in the Schools glacial cold event Friday.


At 10 am Saturday, all superplungers succeeded in their task.

A superplunger, a former Marine and war veteran named Jeffrey, lost his leg to our country. While inspiring others to move forward, said the Special Olympics athletes inspire him to want to do because they are great people.

Other veterans superplunging as a reporter for News alerts personalities Franciotti and 98 Rock Jennifer Amelia and Spiegel continue pumping until after many years.

Since 1997, the event has raised more than $ 16 million for Special Olympics.
